Since 2006 Goodwood Roller Marathon has raised over £68,000 for a variety of charities and we hope to continue this outstanding achievement - but we can't do this without you.
The Goodwood Roller Marathon 2011 is in aid of The NSPCC. As in previous years, it is your choice if you get sponsored. You are welcome to choose your own charity/charities although we would love you to join us in supporting The NSPCC.
Goodwood Roller Marathon's preferred sponsorship site is Virgin Money Giving. A new fundraising site that is 100% not for profit and costs charities less to use.

As well as Virgin Money Giving (VMG) having many advantages for you as fundraisers it also gives us a better ability to track sponsorship money raised.
Other advantages are...
- You can raise money for up to five charities and VMG will split it up for you automatically.
- People that donate to you don't have to sign up to VMG and can also donate via paypal.
- VMG is non-profit meaning more money goes to your charity.
- You can set-up a team page on VMG - you'll be able to hook up with other people you know are taking part in the race and have a combined total.
- You can use the Facebook application or Twitter tool to share your page with your friends and family giving you the potential to raise even more money for your charity/charities.
Of course we want you to raise money through as many ways as possible
