The Goodwood Roller Marathon is in aid of
The NSPCC. As in previous years, it is your choice if you get sponsored, although we would love you to join us in supporting this great charity.
The NSPCC relies on the generosity of its supporters and fundraisers to help provide much needed services for children and young people.
If you wish to be sponsored for this event you can choose to be sponsored online or by printing out our sponsorship form. Getting sponsored online is simple, fast, totally secure and free. It is the most efficient way to get sponsored as it is all online and the NSPCC will receive your money faster. Details of how to start getting sponsored are below:

Online via Virgin Money Giving
You can now use Virgin Money Giving to raise money online allowing your sponsors to easily add gift aid to your donations and make even more for charity.
- Browse to our Virgin Money Giving page
- Fill in the details and click the Next button
- If you are not already registered with Virgin Money Giving you will need to register at this stage or login if you already have an account (it's free).
- Confirm the event and click Next
- Click "Create my page" to start building a page full of details about your upcoming challenge.
- E-mail your fundraising page link to all your family, friends and colleagues and watch the sponsorship money roll in
Online via JustGiving.com
You can create your very own personalised fundraising page quite simply in just 5-10 minutes by following these basic instructions:
- Browse to The NSPCC JustGiving page
- Click on the "Make your page" button
- If you are not already registered with Justgiving.com you will need to register at this stage or login if you already have an account (it's free).
- Choose "An organised event"
- Choose "NSPCC - Goodwood Roller Marathon 2010"
- Choose a web address for your donation page, answer the questions and "Make your page".
- Customise your fundraising page, with text, a picture, and fundraising target.
- E-mail your fundraising page link to all your family, friends and colleagues and watch the sponsorship money roll in
Cheque / Post
- Print off the Sponsorship Form.
Don't forget to fill in your name, address and telephone number at the top of the form.
- Get sponsored!
Remember to ask your sponsors to tick the Gift Aid box if possible. This means The NSPCC
will get an extra 28p for every £1 donated at no extra cost to you or your sponsor. The
NSPCC will only be able to claim Gift Aid on your sponsor's donation if they include a full
name and address.
- Complete the Goodwood Roller Marathon (or do as much as you can!)
- Give your sponsorship money to The NSPCC.
There are two ways you can do this:
- On the day of the Goodwood Roller Marathon please hand your sponsorship form
and a cheque or cash for the full donated amount to any of the Goodwood Roller Marathon organisers at the registration tent.
- After the Goodwood Roller Marathon please send your completed sponsorship form and a cheque (no cash) for the full
donated amount to NSPCC, 5G Mill Court, Spindle Way, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 1TT.
Cheques must be made payable to "
NSPCC Registered Charity".
Without your sponsorship form, The NSPCC will not be able to collect any Gift Aid, so
please ensure that these are kept and handed in with your sponsorship money.
