Registering was the easy bit! Now you have a race to complete!

This page tells you everything you should need to know for Sunday. Please take a moment to read it all so there are no surprises.

- All four races start : 12noon (Mini, Midi, Full & Dual)
- Wheelchairs race starts: 2pm
- Midi & Mini Trophies : 1:30 (approx)
- Full Race Trophies : 2:30 (approx)

Please arrive in good time to pick up your race pack from registration as we cannot cope with 1300 people turning up at 11:30. There will be stalls for you to browse and lots of very friendly skaters to chat to if you get there early.

Racer Packs
You will not receive anything in the post prior to the event. To collect your race pack just give registration your name and date of birth (or the one you registered with). The pack contains your number, timing chip, and race instructions which you can read in advance here (pdf)

Our timing chips are very expensive, while we are not asking for deposits you will be asked to sign your chip out and get it signed back in. If your chip is not signed back in you will be charged £60 for it... PLEASE don't lose them. We ask parents or guardians to sign for the chips if racers are under 16 years.

New this year
Due to the number of participants this year we have introduced Track Marshals to keep you all safe. This video shows you the rules of the track and what they are there to do.

If you can't view the video, the information you need to know: From the 2nd lap, Track Marshals will ensure that fast skaters use the right / outside lane of the track, and slower skaters use the left / inside lane of the track. Please look out for them wearing high-viz jackets in the centre of the track. Please note that they are there for your safety so please listen to them and don't be offended if they ask you to move. Also, please remember to skate safely and not to change direction suddenly. Ensure any children you are responsible for understand this too.

Directions & Parking
The full address of the circuit is on our Getting There page including driving, train and taxi details.

Please be mindful of the disabled parking spaces, we are aware of a number of disabled visitors this year & we're afraid Goodwood Motor Circuit is not disabled friendly at the best of times.

Other bits
First aiders are on-site. Please be aware it is your responsibility to bring appropriate sun protection, sting/bite cream and plasters.

T-shirts are available for £5 each on the day, so remember to bring plenty of cash - not to mention money for an ice cream, a bacon roll and donations to the NSPCC! Please note there are no cash points on-site.

There is nowhere to store items, for non-valuable items there are places to stash them but you do so at your own risk. If possible, find a friend with a car to place items in.

Site Plan
We have updated the Site Plan page. If you are new to our race you may want to know where everything is (especially the food)! Food is also available from The Aerocafe this year.

Water, Drinks & Pit Crew
As well as the water stop on the far side of the track we also have a "Racers Station" which will be opposite the timing clock. This area is for anyone that wishes to pass drinks, food or anything else between racers and non-racers. Please do NOT pass things over the pit wall! The water stop on the far side of the track will be there as usual, if you want to pass them your water bottles they will fill them up for your next lap around.

Don't Forget
This being a charity event you could save us money by simply bringing four safety pins with you for your race number. We will have them available at registration however every bit helps :-)

No dogs are allowed on site (except guide dogs), unfortunately a few messed it up for the rest of us, literally!

If you are taking pictures or video and uploading them to the internet, please tag them with #GoodwoodRoller so we can all see and find them.

Please be aware that the Terms and Conditions have been amended.

Sponsorship
If you haven't done so already please get sponsored. This is a charity event and it would be great to raise loads of money. Details can be found on our Sponsorship page.

If you are being sponsored then let the local papers/radio/TV know. They all love a good story and we can be seen as 'wacky' by the media, we know the truth but do use them to advertise the good cause ;-)

The most important thing to remember is to have fun, we may call ourselves a race but the day is about everyone enjoying yourselves.

If you have any other questions please refer to our FAQ page or contact us.

We look forward to seeing you all there :)
