Subject: [Goodwood Marathon] Grand totals and social worlds
Winter maybe here but we hope you you have all had a great year and as
much of it on wheels as possible! Goodwood Roller Marathon 2008 may
be months ago now but we have been busy scrambling away behind the
scenes like a hamster on a (skate) wheel :-)
== (Semi)Grand Total ==
Last year we announced the Grand Total for money raised and a few of
you then sprung out the woodwork with more money. We aren't knocking
you though, the more the better and every penny counts! We learn from
experience though so aren't calling this the grand total quite yet!
We are very proud to announce that due to all your absolutely fabulous
sponsorship and attendance *so far* the Goodwood Roller Marathon has
raised a whopping £9,186.97 for the NSPCC!! We are hoping that Giftt
Aid can be claimed on every penny of that so with Gift Aid and money
raised for other charities the total currently stands at a fantastic
£13,105.88!!
== Sponsorship ==
You may remember that when you all signed up we asked you if you were
planning on raising money for charity and if so how much. I'm afraid
we do actually keep a track of this and if you are all to be believed
then we still have another £3,130 to collect!!!
If you do still have money to send in please make your cheques payable
to 'NSPCC Registered Charity' and send then to...

We do realise though that not everyone managed to get sponsored. If
you didn't manage to, couldn't attend this year or even want to
