Subject: [Goodwood Marathon] Registration Now Open!


Yes, REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for Goodwood Roller Marathon on 29th July 2007! 
Can you be the first person to register and get the first race number?

Just as last year you can register online or by post however there are a couple 
of changes...

Firstly, with the introduction of three different races comes a new price 
structure and no, the prices haven't gone up.  We hope you will agree that we 
are still very good value for money and don't forget that spectators are now FREE.

Secondly, you can now pay us directly by bank transfer.  Why all this messing 
about with PayPal or paper cheques when so many people have internet banking 
nowadays... it is an option at least, we are still happy to accept PayPal and 
cheques of course.

Thirdly, each racer now has their own racer page where you can view your details 
and get updates that relate specifically to you.  Of course your personal 
results will be posted up there after the race and there *may* even be a 
surprise for you all... but more on that later, it wouldn't be a surprise 
otherwise would it!

We would really appreciate your help publicising this event, while we have a 
fantastic group of skater elves working behind the scenes to let the right 
people know of our event, you can help out too.  If you have a blog, a forum or 
even another mailing list then please post details.  If you live your life in 
the real world there are posters/flyers available to use on the website.   And 
of course, if you have any good leads/contacts for people we should be talking 
to then please send them our way :-)

We thank you all for supporting the Goodwood Roller Marathon and helping us 
raise money for the NSPCC.  Remember to get sponsored and bring the whole family 
along, each generation can do a different race!
