2006 is the year the Goodwood Roller Marathon was organised by the
Camberley Skaters. Formally The British Roller Skating Grand Prix we
are proud to be taking over this tradition from Barry Bridger who has
done a brilliant job of starting and running it over past years.
The event took place on 30th July 2006 and went really well. From
the feedback we have got I think it's safe to say it was a huge success!
After all the sponsorship money had been collected we had raised a
cool £2141.48 for The NCYPE. Even better, the charity should be
able to claim GiftAid on every penny which brings the grand total up
to £2741.09 from the event!
A HUGE thank you to everyone that attended or helped us organise the
Goodwood Roller Marathon. We look forward to seeing you again as well
as those of you that couldn't make it.
